One challenge a day, the same for everyone
Daily Mancala publishes one challenge each day, and every player in the world faces the same one: the same computer opponent, at the same difficulty, with the same side moving first. That shared setup is what makes the format social — when you compare results, you are comparing the same game.
The difficulty follows a weekly rhythm, ramping from easier opponents early in the week to the deepest-searching computer on weekends. The game itself is Kalah, the ruleset most US players know as Mancala — a match takes a few minutes, which makes finishing the day's board a small ritual rather than a grind.
Streaks, archives, and permanent links
Finishing the day's challenge extends your streak — how many consecutive days you have played. Miss a day and the counter resets, which is exactly why streaks are so sticky.
Every past daily stays playable at its own permanent URL in the archive, so a missed day is never lost, and any day's challenge can be bookmarked or shared.
